An aspiring actress, host, Kendyl Chatman is a 9th-grade Theatre Major at the Charleston County School of the arts. She is also a member of the Charleston Academy of Musical Theatre Junior Company where she has been featured in productions including The Little Mermaid and Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Kendyl has also performed on stages including the World Premiere of the opera, Omar, during the International Spoleto USA Festival and the Disney Springs Stage. Kendyl’s long-term goals are to go to college and major in theatre and perform on Broadway and star in films.
Having attended the Dream, Sparkle, Shine Conference since it began, she is excited about hosting this year with the hope of continuing the legacy of the conference in the future.
